Brian Rhymes
Operations Superintendent
Brian Rhymes serves GUS as Operating Superintendent. He is uniquely qualified as Brian holds the State of Florida’s Specialty Electrical Contractor License certifying him as a Utility Line Electrical Specialist. Brian has been employed at GUS since 2005. In that time he has worked his way from Lineman to Distribution Superintendent and then on to his present position. Currently, all Distribution and Transmission operations come under Brian’s direction. His strong work ethic, proven knowledge through gaining state licensing and unyielding emphasis on safety and quality work make him the obvious person to fill this special position. He has built a team of highly experienced distribution and transmission leaders to provide the quality of service your company expects.
Scott Todd
Corporate Services Supervisor
Scott Todd has been employed by Glades Utility Services, Inc. since 2008. He currently serves as Corporate Services Supervisor. His primary responsibilities include Safety, Fleet, Warehousing and Purchasing. Scott is not only OSHA Certified; he is a Certified Trainer in First Aid, CPR, AED and Bloodborne Pathogens along with being certified to Teach MOT flagging. Aside from his certifications, Scott brings years of management experience to GUS. His strengths such as discipline, planning, time management and people skills were further developed while managing operations in two previous businesses. Scott is a graduate of Central Alabama College where he was an All-American golfer and then went on to play on the NGA Hooters’ Tour.
Courtney F. Brown
Office Manager
Courtney was first employed at Glades Utility Services, Inc. as Office Manager in 2004. Courtney has been a dedicated employee of Glades Utility Services, Inc. Courtney brings close to 10 years of experience in the administrative, accounting and management fields. Her many years of service have allowed her to grow and mature with this company.
Nick Moore
Forestry Division Supervisor
Nick Moore started with GUS in June, 2011 heading up the Forestry Division. His primary responsibilities consist of running a preventative maintenance program, along with responding to out of service tickets while managing an active safety program. He started in the line clearance field in 1989 and has continued to advance himself over the years. He is a certified Utility Arborist and licensed Herbicide Applicator. Nick continues to expand his knowledge through continuing education units (CEU) required by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and Florida Vegetation Management Association (FVMA). He is also certified in Intermediate Management of Traffic (MOT). Nick has extensive experience in providing quality customer care, both to customers and to their consumers.
